How to Clean Bathroom Vanities
Cleaning bathroom vanities can be started with preparing the equipment. You will need cleaner liquid or soap and dry cloth. There are various cleaner liquids that can be chosen. It also depends on the kind of vanity material. Wood and marble vanities will need different cleaner liquid, for example. You have to read the cleaning instruction in the cleaner liquid bottle before start cleaning. Thus, you will know whether it needs to be mixed with water or not. But, for sure, you should avoid abrasive cleaner. Over time, it can create scratches and allow mould to grow.
When you see any stains, like soap and toothpaste scum or water spots, you should directly take the equipment and start cleaning. It is quite easy to clean bathroom vanities. First, you have to remove all of the bath equipments from the table. Then, dip the dry cloth to the cleaner liquid. You have to wipe the vanity surface after that. Make sure that you scrub the area where there are any stains on it. Repeat the process if you still see any stains. After that, rinse the vanity using water. Last but not least, you can dry the surface with another dry cloth. Make sure that you don’t leave any water spots on the bathroom vanities.
Don’t forget to clean the faucet too. You won’t need any cleaner liquid to clean the faucet. But you can use vinegar for it. Remember, the vinegar is used for cleaning the faucet, not the vanity. It will corrode the vanity, especially those which are made from marble. In case you find stains that are difficult to be removed, you can use light sander and bleach, depending the type of bathroom vanities.
